Are you insured?

Yes. We have many satisfied customers who will provide references.

What kind of equipment do you use?

At Starlights we use a variety of high end equipment.

  • QSC k12 speakers with 1000w, frequency response 48hz-20khz
  • State of the Art Behringer and Numark Mixers,
  • Shure Wireless Microphones, American DJ lighting with Trusses
  • High Definition Monitor for Karaoke

Do you have wireless microphones?

We have several wireless microphones should you want this option at your event.

How Much Room Do You Need To Setup?

We need space at least 12 feet wide and 8 feet deep.  We need a 6-8 foot table within 15 feet of a grounded electrical outlet

Will you travel out of the area?

Yes, if the round trip millage is 50 miles or less travel is free except for tolls or parking. For 50 miles or more we add the standard per mile rate along with tolls. Should lodging be required, this expense would be added to your overall cost as well.

Do you provide a written contract?

Yes, it is very important for all conerned to know what the expectations are, agreements, start time end time.

How far in advance should we book you?

The sooner you book a party for that special day the immediate peace of mind you have. We book parties from 30 days to 2 years in advance.

What is your payment policy?

We do require a 50% deposit to hold your selected day.

How much time do you need to setup?

We generally show up 2 hours before an event.  We take the time to set up and do multiple sound checks and check all connections.

What sets you apart from other DJ's?

Do you take requests from guests?

Yes, if that is okay with the client that hired starlights entertainment.

Are you the DJ that will appear at my event?

Yes, we are family owned and have been in business over 20 years.

How interactive are you with the guests?

Yes. We will demonstrate some dances as well as dance with the guess as needed.  We generally communicate with guess on a regular basis.

Do you provide party favors?

Yes.  We offer party favors.

Do you have backup equipment?

We have back up speakers, mixers, and laptops.  We have portable units that we back up music on, as well as dance mix cd’s.

Will you play a CD that we provide?

After we review the contents of the cd then we determine if it’s the right music for the event.  We always suggest a playlist from our clients.

Can I meet you before hiring you?

Absolutely.

Can I request songs to be played and ones I don't want played?

Yes.

How much do you charge? Do you have package deals?

We have multiple package deals to meet everyones specific needs.
